Another year came and went by, in what felt like just a few days. Actually, the whole journey of our startup, which started back in 2019, felt like a breeze that quickly blew by.

As we’re wrapping up 2022, we wanted to take a moment to look back and reflect on where we’ve come and where we’re headed. Below are a few interesting numbers, milestones and tidbits that defined our year:

The Numbers

In the past year, we’ve grown to:

  • 135k users (Free & Paid) - we’ve broke straight through the 100k users milestone this year, with significant growth in both categories.
  • 500k websites created with Brizy WordPress & Brizy Cloud, ranging from simple landing pages to presentation websites or even eCommerce shops.

New Features Launched

On the product side, we’ve launched many new features across our 2 products - WordPress & Cloud - that have made Brizy more powerful and even easier to use. For those who don’t follow our changelogs, here are some highlights:

  • Multilingual with Automatic translations functionality in Brizy Cloud, so everyone could add more languages to their websites;
  • Content Auto-install in Brizy WordPress that enables users to install the entire demo content (pages, headers, menus, images, texts, everything) in one go, with a single click;
  • Team Collaboration in Brizy Cloud. This feature allows site creators and their clients to provide and receive feedback directly on the websites they are currently working on;
  • Membership functionality in both WordPress & Cloud. This opened the doors to more complex websites, where users can register accounts, can login/register, access different info based on role type, posts and more;
  • Hundreds of small fixes and updates, like this massive one;
  • We’ve added 43 new template designs and 50 stories for our Brizy Stories functionality.

New Products Launched

We’ve made incredible progress during 2022 with our B2B offerings, and we’ve launched a new product specifically aimed at B2B: Brizy Local. This is in addition to our White Label Reseller & Hosting provider offerings, but with the important difference on using Brizy on-premise.

Brizy Local is a product perfect for SaaS businesses that need a web-content builder on their own infrastructure, no matter the provider. Brizy Local is a seamless, secure & scalable Enterprise solution.

Investment Round

This year we’ve raised a $2.4M Seed Round investment to evolve Brizy into the first multi-platform website builder. We are super happy to be backed by one of Europe’s most active tech investment funds, Fuel Ventures. You can find more details here.

We have aggressive plans for growth over the next 18 months and are very proud to have them on board as a partner.

We Are Hiring

We’ll be hiring on all fronts next year, meaning we are looking for developers, QA, Support reps, Customer success, Sales and Marketing talent. We aim to provide our employees with competitive compensation and long-term participation in the success of Brizy.

What features will 2023 bring?

For next year we are working on quite a few big updates to our builder. Some are almost done, others are just starting in Q1 2023. Here are the big takeaways in our roadmap:

  • eCommerce / Shop functionality for Brizy Cloud;
  • Filters functionality for WordPress & Cloud -> this will enable building complex websites like Real Estate, Auto Dealership, Job Listings, where there are lots of listings and results dependant on filtering;
  • Auto Install Content for Brizy Cloud -> this should provide a much easier entry for most users, especially on complex websites;
  • AI Generated content for Brizy WordPress & Cloud -> this should add a huge boost in productivity by generating images and marketing texts by just asking AI tools to do it;
  • More Enterprise & Reseller functionalities and products;
  • Improvements across the board: streamlined performance, faster, new elements, responsive breakpoints, caching, new template designs for more complex websites, animations, Cloud infrastructure improvements.
