Setting up your own website-building solution can be complex. It requires a lot of time and investment which you may not have whether you’re a freelancer or an agency. Thankfully, you can save your time and resources by using a white-label website builder.

A white-label website builder allows you to offer a site-building solution, created by a third-party provider, to your clients as your own. The third-party provider allows you to brand and market its website builder as your own when you sell its services to your customer.

In this post, we’ll show you how to build a professional website using Brizy Cloud’s White-Label Website builder. But before we get to that, let's first see why you should use a white-label website builder.

Why Should You Use a White Label Website Builder

A white-label website builder provides several benefits to your business including the following:

  • Saves your time and resources - the third-party provider takes care of setting up a website builder for you so you don’t have to spend your time and resources doing this. All you have to do is market and resell the white-label website builder as your own.
  • It helps to build a stronger brand - a white-label website builder allows you to brand it with your own logo, name, and color scheme. This helps you to establish a consistent experience across your services. A white-label website builder allows you to keep everything in-house and as a result, it helps to retain your customers.
  • Flexibility to customize your website builder - you can tailor the website builder to cater to your enterprise’s specific needs and offerings. You can customize the website builder to fit into your business resources ecosystem seamlessly.
  • It allows you to unlock a revenue stream - a white-label website builder serves as a tool to generate revenue for you. By marketing the website builder as your own and setting your prices, you will get to keep the profits from client purchases all to yourself.
  • It is a competitive advantage - if your business offers services related to building websites, let’s say hosting or domain registration, offering a website builder gives you a competitive advantage over your competitors who don’t offer it.

With these benefits, you can offer a truly unique service to your customers which can encourage more customers to work with you long-term. And with more revenue coming in your business can generate more profits, attract investors, and grow.

Who should use a White-Label website builder?

Generally, anyone who wants to build websites, code-free, while marketing the website builder as their own, can use a white-label website builder. This can be:

1.Agency / Studio: that designs and builds websites and related solutions for clients, such as pop-ups, landing pages, and so on. You can use a white-label website builder if you don’t want your clients to know that you’re outsourcing this function.

2.SaaS Vendor: who sells their own software solution and is looking for a complementary landing page or website builder solution.

3.Freelancer: such as a designer or developer who builds website solutions for clients and wants to brand the website builder as their own.

Now that you know why and who should use it, let’s see how you can build a professional website with a white-label website builder.

How to Build a Professional Website with a White-Label Website Builder (Step-by-step)

In this section, we’ll walk you through a step-by-step process on how to build your website with a white-label website builder. Let’s get right into it.

Step 1: Choose your White-Label Website Builder

There are numerous white-label website-building solutions in the market today. For this reason, choosing one that best suits your needs can be challenging. Ideally, you would want one that:

  • Has an extensive list of features
  • Has numerous customization options
  • Is easy and intuitive to use
  • Is robust, reliable, and scalable
  • Has great technical support

So if you’re looking for a solution with all of the above qualities and more, Brizy’s white-label website builder fits the bill.

Step 2: Build your professional website

Everything you need to build your website is available on your Brizy Cloud dashboard. To build the website:

  1. From your Brizy Cloud dashboard, click on the Create New Project button and then select the Website & Landing Page option. A new project will be created for you.
  2. Hover over the project and click on Edit Project > Start Building Your Page. You’ll be shown a lot of options here. We’ll start by looking at the tabs.
  • Layouts - from the layouts tab, you’ll find a variety of pre-built whole-page templates for you to choose from. To create a website super fast, you can select a layout and simply edit the details.
  • Blocks - Apart from whole-page templates, Brizy allows you to build just sections of a page using the blocks feature. You can choose to import a template or create your own.
  • Elements - After selecting a block or layout, click the plus(+) icon on the left sidebar to show the elements. You can use this to add textboxes, image boxes, icon boxes, counters, and so on. To edit elements, you can just click on them and an options menu will pop up. From this menu, you can change the alignment, typography, positioning, etc. of your elements.

The Brizy builder has an extensive depth of features that allows you to create fully customizable websites, even if you import templates. Once you’re done, click on the Save Draft button.

Step 3: Invite clients to edit and give feedback

As mentioned earlier, while using the Agency plan, you can invite your clients to view their projects as team members. To do this, you can create workspaces for them and invite them into the workspace as team members. Then assign them lower roles such as editor or designer so that they don’t modify the builder.

While on your dashboard, your customers will see your custom domain on the search bar, your logo, and your favicon. If they have issues with the project, they can click on your support links and share their concerns.

To invite clients to view their projects, you’ll first need to create a workspace for them. To do this:

  1. Click on the dropdown at the center of the header and select Create New Workspace and add the specific client’s project to this workspace.
  2. Click on Team Members (top right) and add the client’s email address.
  3. You will see a dropdown next to the email field, click on it and assign your client a role, for instance, ‘Editor’.
  4. When you’re done click Send. Brizy will send an email notification to the client inviting them into the workspace.

That’s it, you’ve just created a workspace for a client and invited them into the workspace. To see what the role allows your client to do, you can hover over it. If you invite a client with this role, they will have access to the preview version of their project.

While on the dashboard, they won’t be able to create new projects for themselves. If they want a new project, they’ll have to contact you to set it up for them.

Step 4: Publish your website

Once you’ve completed the website and the client has approved it, you’ll be able to publish the website on Brizy Cloud. To enable you to do this, Brizy offers a high-performance content delivery network (CDN) for any projects built on it free-off charge. This CDN securely hosts your website and ensures high availability for your website and faster page loading time.

Once you click to publish your website, a pop-up will appear prompting you to select the domain on which you want to publish your website. This can be a subdomain provided by Brizy Cloud or preferably a custom domain that belongs to your business.

Step 5: Add your custom domain

To brand the website builder as yours, you’ll need your business’ domain name to be displayed on the search bar.

To solidify your branding and ensure a consistent experience on your professional website, having a unique custom domain is vital. While Brizy allows you to design and publish seamlessly, obtaining and managing this essential aspect of your online presence could require third-party assistance. If you're looking to buy a domain name that aligns with your brand's vision while ensuring fast speeds and reliable service, consider exploring options that cater specifically to the needs of businesses aiming for professionalism and ease.

After buying a domain name from registrars such as GoDaddy, Namecheap, NameHero, etc. you can then link it to Brizy in these simple steps. Once you finish, your website will be published to your own domain.
